Wrapping paper

Wrapping or Packaging paper is a type of paper specifically designed for the production of packaging, used across various industries including food, construction, and consumer goods. This paper are characterized by high durability and functionality, while being designed to be as sustainable as possible.

The process of manufacturing packaging paper involves:

  • Wood processing: Wood is chopped into chips, from which pulp is made.
  • Pulp production: This pulp is then processed into paper, using chemical and mechanical processes.
  • Paper creation: After the chemical treatment and purification of the pulp, it is formed into paper. This paper is used for various packaging solutions, including kraft paper or specialized cardboard packaging.

Members of the ZCPP focus on innovations in sustainable packaging solutions and minimizing the negative environmental impact.
